I have a Logitech Cordless TrackMan Optical and a Quickcam Pro 4000. The trackball is recognized as HID-compliant Cordless Trackball, but no buttons programing. The webcam is not recognized at all.
Anyone knows how to get them to work?

Logitech webcam and trackball not working
for the webcam....install the latest xp drivers in xp. run lavalys everest (while still in xp), and go to the devices section to find out which INF file the webcam is in. boot back into Vista, and update the drivers from the device manager, and brouse to ur XP partion (BLAH):\windows\inf and select the INF that everest displayed. It works. "Jerry" wrote in message

That doesn't work with the Quickcam Pro 4000...it finds the inf file, but says it cannot locate the "file"

Hello!
I have a Logitech Quickcam Pro5000 and the driver from the LT page didn“t work either. Then I let Vista search in the following folder from the Win XP install ...\Logitech...\QuickCamWebinstall\drivers\WinNew\PRO3 search for drivers for the cam and it worked the cam was installed and recognizes by the system correctly.
bye
Boris
